Design features: VIKA 75S has two relief surface textures separated by a side line. The upper part is made in the form of diamond-shaped notches, the lower part - in the form of oblique notches. The head part of the wobbler imitates the head of a fish, and 3D eyes make the appearance of the bait very realistic. Animation: When casting with VIKA 75S, two main types of fishing are used - uniform and stepped. Uniform wiring must be done in the bottom layer in such a way as to ensure the passage of the bait close to the predator’s hiding places. It is also possible to catch pelagic predators accompanying schools of forage fish in the middle layers of water. The depths at which they are comfortable fishing start from 2.5-3 meters and deeper. With a slow retrieve speed, you can fish deep edges, bumpy terrain and the base of underwater spits up to 8-10 meters. When retrieving, it makes sense to diversify the animation by making small throws with the rod, to include acceleration and a vertical component in the retrieving.
We perform stepped wiring with a coil in the classic “Russian” style. Fishing depths from 4+ to 12 meters. We make from one to five revolutions (depending on the depth). It is important to ensure that the bait falls to the bottom with a sufficient pause in each retrieve cycle.
Vertical jigging (or vertical trolling) is another way to animate the VIKA 75S. It can be carried out from a boat, rafting along the selected terrain, as well as when positioned over a specific snag, hillock or hole. The method is also applicable when fishing from ice in winter on large deep reservoirs, lakes and rivers when hunting for pike perch, bersh, pike and burbot. It is also possible to use VIKA 75S when fishing for starting trout in commercial reservoirs.
